“We Need to Stop Squeeze on Business To Increase Budget Revenues,” Ivan Krulko, Member of Rada
It is necessary to stop putting a squeeze on business in order to increase revenues of the national budget. Ivan Krulko, a Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the first deputy chair of Verkhovna Rada’s Budget Committee, made this statement during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“Sometimes, I get an impression that the war is over when some law enforcement and oversight agencies start putting a squeeze on business again without any ground; it has nothing to do with supporting the entrepreneurship. On the contrary, it encourages businesses to close and leave Ukraine. There are facts like this,” Krulko said.
The government must support Ukrainian businesses to make sure the economy works. Hard work with international institutions is another way to support the budget.
“The second option for increasing the revenues is to keep working with international institutions, large multilateral banks, our sovereign partners – all of them could support Ukraine even more in the form of grants, rather than loans. Ukraine fights not only for ourselves and our country; our fierce fight protects Europe from a big war and the world from a new world war,” Ivan Krulko stated.
