Ukrenergo achieves UAH 400 million in profits in 2023

Ukrenergo’s profit in 2023 amounted to UAH 400 million while the company’s revenue reached UAH 83 billion.

In addition, the Chairman of the Board of NEC Ukrenergonergo, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Our revenue amounted to UAH 83 billion with the profit of about UAH 400 million, a turnaround from the loss incurred last year. And we made profit despite the fact that in 2023 there was quite significant damage to our infrastructure. In addition, a certain devaluation of the hryvnia against foreign currencies negatively affects our financial results, because many of our debt obligations are in dollars and euros. So when the exchange rate of the dollar or euro increases, we automatically incur additional related costs. Despite all this, despite the need for the largest-scale repair campaign for trunk electricity networks in history, we were able to make this, albeit moderate, profit,” Volodymyr Kudrytskyi emphasized.

In addition, the Chairman of the Board of NEC Ukrenergo noted that in 2023, the company successfully settled over UAH 24 billion in debt to counterparties.
