Ukraine’s NATO partners adequately assessing the situation in Ukraine and preparing for long-term solutions

Representatives of NATO headquarters have a clear understanding about the events in Ukraine. They also understand the importance of technical superiority over the enemy.

Nataliia Galibarenko, Head of Ukraine’s Mission to NATO, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Among the representatives of the headquarters – and I am talking about various levels – in the various discussions that I participated in, there is an absolutely adequate understanding that perhaps the expectations from the counteroffensive were exaggerated, and the war is not just a win streak or a series of defeats. Everyone understands that we are facing a very strong enemy, and we must not underestimate them. The russians are learning over the course of the war, and by the way, they are learning a lot from our Armed Forces in particular. Therefore, they will always exceed us in terms of quantity and resources,” she explained.

At the same time, Nataliia Galibarenko noted that Western partners understand the importance of helping Ukraine and the need for technical superiority over the enemy.

“Therefore, (we will succeed – Ed.) only with the help of our Western partners, with the help of technological advantage, and efficient ways of fighting, not relying on quantity. This is our recipe. And I am really pleased that our partners understand this. That is, an adequate assessment of the situation leads to the fact that people are preparing for long-term decisions,” she added.
