Ukraine’s Armed Forces Moved into the Depth of Foe’s Positions and Consolidated at the Kharkiv Axis
Oleksii Hromov, Deputy Head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this fact at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“At the Kharkiv axis, the foe does not engage in active hostilities, trying to keep the occupied territory and carry out missile strikes. Ukraine’s defense forces moved into the depth of defense positions of the foe to consolidate in the liberated areas,” he said.
At the Chernihiv, Konotop, and Sumy axes, the foe keeps carrying out attacks using different types of artillery. However, the intensity of such attacks dropped from 50 to 39. One missile attack was recorded during the week.
The brigadier general considered the probability of an assault from the territory of belarus to be low. However, the threat of missile attacks is still imminent. A group of russia’s national border covering forces were deployed in regions bordering Ukraine to distract Ukraine’s Armed Forces. “They include conscripts or officers who refused to fight in Ukraine.
Oleksii Hromov also said that a “volunteer headquarters” was set up in russia’s Valuyki.
“They deliver packages for russian invaders into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine from this headquarters and use civilian cars to bring property looted from Ukrainians there,” he said.
