The occupiers in the so-called LDPR plan to put all Ukrainians on the military registration by the end of 2023
Seventeen-year-old boys were planned to be registered by March 31, the elderly – by the end of the year. Vira Yastrebova, lawyer, director of the NGO “Shidna Pravozahisna grupa” (Eastern Human Rights Group), told about this at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
As the human rights activist noted, the leaders of the occupying authorities issued the relevant decrees.
“Registration of citizens who have reached the age of 17 must be completed by March 31, 2023, and of older male citizens – by December 31, 2023. The heads of the so-called state authorities, educational institutions and enterprises must ensure the turnout of citizens to the military commissariats of the “LDPR” for the initial registration for military registration,” – Vira Yastrebova said.
She noted that, in her opinion, the leaders of the so-called The LDNR need to show the Kremlin that “they have formed new military corps and are ready to fight against Ukraine.”
“But the local population has no desire to register for the military, because they understand what fate befell those who left earlier. Nobody wants to die for putin and Crimea. According to our information, the occupiers have changed their approach to issuing summonses. They will be handed out immediately upon submission to mandatory military registration, and those who refuse will be searched by the internal affairs bodies of the “LDPR”, – Vira Yastrebova emphasized.
