More information: The full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia and the liberation of a number of settlements by the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the government and society to actively discuss and work on the vision of reintegration of the Crimean Peninsula occupied since 2014.
Thus, during the previous year, the Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea together with 36 experts, developed the Strategy of the first steps of the state after the liberation of the Crimean Peninsula. General approaches of the strategy may be found on the Mission’s website, as well as the Strategy of economic recovery of Crimea. It was prepared together with ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine, Kyiv School of Economics, and the Center for Defense Strategies.
The visit of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva to Odesa provides an opportunity to discuss the regional aspect of the governmental approach to the strategy of reintegration of Crimea.
What is important in the context of Crimea’s reintegration from the point of view of Odesa and Odesa region – as a southern region and as the part of the Black Sea region? What should be taken into account, what are the opportunities and risks?
During the event, Tamila Tasheva will present the approaches developed, and the expert community will join in to discuss regional peculiarities, opportunities, and risks.
