Odesa region is able to systematically replenish the Defense Forces of Ukraine – new military commissar of Odesa region
Odesa region is capable of systematically replenishing the Defense Forces of Ukraine – there are enough human resources and trained personnel who have now come to the regional territorial center for manning and social support.
This was stated at a briefing at the Ukraine-Odesa Media Center by the head of the Odesa Regional Logistics Center, Colonel Oleksandr Okhrymenko, who has gone through a combat career from a mechanized platoon commander to the commander of the 14th Mechanized Brigade.
“The task set by the state is to fulfill mobilization measures, to man up the Armed Forces of Ukraine with specialists of various specialties. We are also engaged in social protection of discharged servicemen and their families,” said the head of the Odesa Regional Medical and Logistics Center.
He noted that almost 80% of those who have returned from the front are currently employed at the TCC. However, recruitment is ongoing for both established military units that have been operating for many years and those that are just being formed in Ukraine and in Odesa region in particular.
“The human resource located in Odesa region allows us to fulfill the task of replenishing the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This is necessary for our troops on the contact line to be able to man up and perform tasks to deter the enemy and liberate the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine,” emphasized Oleksandr Okhrymenko.
