No one knows whether Iran still transfers suicide drones to russia, but rf may still have vast stocks of these drones — Director of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future

Ukraine has no information on whether Iran still supplies russia with its suicide drones. This was stated by Vadym Denysenko, Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, during the briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“We don’t know whether these drones are supplied now, and we don’t understand how many of them have been procured earlier. Previously, intelligence services reported that Iran transferred up to a thousand such drones. Based on these data, russia has quite vast stocks of these drones. It is difficult to say whether they continue to procure them now”, Vadym Denysenko said.

Also, according to the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, Ukrainian-Iranian relations are now at the lowest level during their entire history, and will go down any further. It’s unlikely that Iran will be penalized for weapons’ supply to russia. Since the country has already been sanctioned for about 30 years.

Recall that, according to command of Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the air defense destroyed nine Iranian suicide drones in Southern Ukraine on the night of October 6. On October 5, russians attacked Bila Tserkva of Kyiv region using Iranian suicide drones. Infrastructure facilities were damaged; 1 casualty is reported.
