In Kherson City, 925 Buildings, 38 Critical Infrastructure Facilities, 47 Educational Institutions Are Destroyed; Hospitals Are Repeatedly Shelled — Head of Oblast Military Administration

Kherson city is constantly shelled by the enemy and suffers destructions of both the residential sector and infrastructure facilities. Halyna Luhova, Head of Kherson City Military Administration, stated their aftermath during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“To date, we have 38 critical infrastructure facilities, 47 educational institutions and 925 buildings destroyed, of which 334 are private and 371 are multi-apartment. Recently, Maternity Hospital No. 1 was damaged with the consequence that more than 50 windows were blown out. The Dniprovskyi district maternity hospital was also damaged that year. The maternity ward at the Tropinykh Clinical Hospital was shelled twice. Women in labor were there at that time, two child births took place that day, and a Caesarean section surgery was just completed. Thank god, no one was injured, the women in labor were transferred to another department. The Children’s Regional Hospital was also damaged, the enemy fired at it twice,” Halyna Luhova said.
