Minister of Finance: National Revenue Strategy for 2024-2030 will be shortly presented to the Government 

As part of the program with the IMF, it is planned to improve the revenue side of Ukraine’s budget. One of the key components of this process is the 2024-2030 National Revenue Strategy, which the government may support by the end of this year.

It was discussed during a briefing by Serhii Marchenko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“The draft strategy has already been developed and will soon be subjected to the government for consideration. I hope the state officials will support it by the end of the year,” he said.

According to the minister, the strategy will include administrative measures, policymaking measures, and strengthening of such bodies as the Tax and Customs Service, in particular, it’s about professional staff employment, creating appropriate motivating work environments, digitizing processes, ensuring risk-oriented approaches, and implementing European laws.

“We will actually change our bodies and make them compliant with European standards. We have already done a lot in terms of legislation, and now we have to adapt our fiscal authorities to the practices of the relevant tax and customs departments of the European Union,” the Minister explained.
