Lviv will raise funds for special backpacks for military medics on the charity Health Day
This Saturday, 30 September, in the Zamarstynivskyi Park, doctors will tell how to improve mental health and protect against the threat of cardiovascular disease. The event will include training in first aid and bleeding control. In this way, medical professionals want to draw attention to problems with cardiovascular disease and promote a healthy lifestyle. Participants of the Health Day will be able to support military medics with voluntary donations and participation in a charity fair.
“Military patients from the Unbroken Rehabilitation Center will attend the event. They will tell how they took care of their health in extreme conditions. Visitors can also get a medical check-up: a cardiogram, blood pressure or blood sugar. And there will be a separate programme for children with master classes and making gifts for our defenders,” said Andrii Bazylevych, co-organiser and professor at Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University.
The event will take place on the occasion of the World Heart Day and the International Day of the Doctor at the initiative of the Ukrainian Medical Society. Similar events are planned in Kyiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chervonohrad.
