During month of work Brave1 defense technology cluster received more than 200 projects

More than 50 of them have already passed military expertise. This was announced at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa by Natalia Kushnerska, Brave1 project lead.

She said that the purpose of the cluster is to promote and support Ukrainian developers, as well as to accelerate project implementation through close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“We have already received more than 200 applications from developers, more than 50 of them have already been examined by the military. Half of them were highly appreciated and sent for accelerated consideration for approval for operation by the Ministry of Defense, up to one month. Applications with average marks received “homework” – what needs to be corrected,” Kushnerska said.

She added that if a startup receives a low score, it is sent for business expertise.

“This is a second chance for developers. Perhaps they are not needed for defense today, but they are interesting ideas that we do not want to lose,” –  Kushnerska said.

She added that the priority areas for support from the Brave1 cluster are developments in the field of drones, communication systems, robotic sea and land drones and platforms, navigation systems, geolocation, artificial intelligence, and demining.
