Presentation of the report on people abducted by russia in the occupied territories

Topics of focus:

– Who of the activists is most often kidnapped by russia?
– How many enforced disappearances are human rights defenders and the state aware of?
– From which region have the most people gone missing?
– What should Ukraine and the world do to return Ukrainian citizens?

Why this is interesting:

russia has been abducting Ukrainians since 2014 in the occupied territories, but after the full-scale invasion, there have been many more cases of disappearances. The russian federation is doing this deliberately in order to suppress the active Ukrainian resistance in the occupation. ZMINA Human Rights Center collected data on enforced disappearances during the full-scale war and made the corresponding report.
