Finances of a terrorist country: how to confiscate?

Topics of focus:

– Whether the world takes assets from the aggressor and transfers them to Ukraine, and how efficiently and transparently is confiscation carried out in Ukraine?
– What is happening with the russian budget now?
– What reserves does russia have now?
– Do sanctions actually affect the “economic health” of the aggressor country?
– What should Ukraine and democratic countries do to speed up the confiscation of assets of the Russian Federation and those associated with the regime?

Why is this interesting?
According to the World Bank’s RDNA2, Ukraine needs more than $414 billion to rebuild its economy.
The confiscation of the russian federation and its residents’ assets should be the primary resource to compensate Ukraine for the damage and losses caused. To date, it has been possible to confiscate less than 0.1% of all assets under sanctions in connection with russia’s military aggression on the territory of Ukraine.
