“Already created electronic services for veterans will start working the next day after the victory, currently it is dangerous to use them,” Ministry for Veteran Affairs

The Ministry for Veterans Affairs together with international partners and other ministries of Ukraine have already prepared a number of electronic services for veterans, but using them while the war goes on can be dangerous. Yulia Laputina, Minister for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Thanks to the help of American organization IREX, we created an electronic register of Ukrainian veterans. It has not been launched to the public yet due to security measures, but it actually exists and corresponds with the registers of other ministries and departments. We are moving further with the digitization program together with our foreign partners. We will introduce appropriate electronic tools in Diia that will be focused on veterans in order to create an electronic veteran’s cabinet (that includes) all services. We have it all ready, but we don’t want someone in the temporarily occupied territory to have the app on their smartphone that will prove that they are a veteran. After all, it is dangerous for people. But the next day after the victory, all these services will be activated,” — the Minister said.
