“A new document, pensioner ID card, will be available in Diia app in a few weeks,” Ministry of Digital Transformation

The final beta testing of pension ID cards in Diia apps is currently underway. The Pension Fund is conducting its own examination at the moment. This service will be available within a week or two.

Mstyslav Banik, Head of Electronic Services Development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

Diia app will contain pension ID cards issued due to age or disability. The ID will be added to the account automatically. However, only pensioner ID cards issued after 2017 will be generated in the app.

“For those who want to get access to this service, we advise exchanging them (pension ID cards) for more modern ones in the Pension Fund, then they will become available in Diia,” — he pointed out.

Also, temporary residence permits in Ukraine will be available in Diia, even for foreigners. However, their documents must be issued after 2018.

Mstyslav Banik said that Diia will also allow transferring the right to drive a vehicle to another person by sharing the vehicle registration certificate in the app.

“Prior to the full-scale invasion, this option was already available. The war somewhat stopped this practice, currently we are restoring it,” — the Head of Electronic Services Development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.

In time, the Ministry of Digital Transformation will include English language documents in the app for the convenience of using Diia abroad.
