“World Bank evaluates damages to water utilities at USD 6 billion, but this is extremely low estimate,” Water and Sewage Utilities Association

Dmytro Novytskyi, Chair of the Water and Sewage Utilities Association of Ukraine made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The World Bank has estimated that the amount of damage to the infrastructure of Ukraine’s water utilities is about USD 6 billion. However, in my opinion, this number can only be approximate. Because we cannot yet calculate all the losses in the occupied territories. We haven’t conducted a full analysis of the destroyed infrastructure in the de-occupied cities, let alone behind the front lines,” — Dmytro Novytskyi said.
