Ukraine to export all carry-over grain stocks by June – Denys Marchuk

The pace of grain exports has significantly accelerated since products began moving through the ports of Great Odesa. It will now be possible to export surplus grain stocks by June.

Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Today, the potential of transporting (products – Ed.) through the ports of Great Odesa has greatly accelerated our export capacities for grains and in general. We can see that the indicators for March are slightly lower, but not worse than in February. In total, almost 5 million tons of grain were exported, and this is quite a good indicator. If this happens, then by the end of May – the beginning of June, all Ukraine’s carry-over stocks will be exported. In general, we shipped almost 34.5 million tons during this marketing year, and this data is quite good. I hope that we will not be left with carry-over stocks, as was the case in 2022 or at the beginning of 2023,” explained Denys Marchuk.
