Ukraine’s oilseeds and grains harvest is projected to be around 75 million tons this year, – Dmytro Solomchuk

Ukraine expects to harvest approximately 75 million tons of oilseeds and grains this year.

Dmytro Solomchuk, a People’s Deputy and member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Agrarian and Land Policy Committee stated, speaking at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Currently, we anticipate a harvest of about 74-75 million tons of grains and oilseeds. However, this figure could increase, depending on weather conditions and our capacity to harvest and store the crops. Last year, we had similar production hopes but ended up with significantly better-than-expected yields.”
