Ukraine’s Navy: Creating a separate Azov flotilla by russians makes no sense
After of the destruction of the cruiser “Moscow”, the enemy’s Black Sea fleet often hides in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. This opinion was expressed by Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
He said that the destroyed cruiser “Moscow” provided air cover for the russian group and provided intelligence. And now, because Turkey does not allow warships to enter the Black Sea, the Russians cannot replenish their group.
“So now they don’t feel safe in the Sevastopol bay and are mostly in the northeastern part of the Black Sea. There is also information that they want to create an Azov group. But this makes no sense, because we remember how the stay of russian landing ships in the port of Berdiansk ended. They were also caught there,” – Pletenchuk said.
