UKRAINE MEDIA CENTER’S APRIL 16, 2022, PRELIMINARY BRIEFING SCHEDULE (32 RYNOK SQ., LVIV)

11:00 AM — 3rd Farmers’ Fair Opening in Lviv

 The Farmers’ Fair offers a place for dozens of farmers from Lviv Oblast to offer their local products.

Why is this interesting? A presentation of the Ukrainian-style coffee — a special strong coffee recipe for the military personnel. You can also buy coffee at the Fair to be handed over to the Armed Forces.

Vadim Granovskiy, author of the Ukrainer coffee recipe

Yevhen Klopotenko, a well-known Ukrainian chef

Venue: Rynok Square (in front of the Media Center) 

11:30 AM — Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration (online)

Current issues:

  • new shelling of Sumy Oblast by russians
  • restoring infrastructure in the liberated areas
  • civilian losses due to the russian aggression

12:30 PM — Vadym Krasnooky, leader of Mad Heads, a famous Ukrainian band (in person) 

Current subjects: 

Vadym Krasnooky presents his new song, Cruiser Moskva 

Why is this interesting? Missile cruiser Moskva, the former flagship of russia’s Black Sea Fleet, sunk due to a missile attack by Ukraine’s Armed Forces. 

Mad Heads is a rockabilly band established in 1991; it is one of the leading Ukrainian rock bands.
