“Threat of belarus Joining the War against Ukraine Persists,” Chernihiv Oblast State Administration

The foe keeps shelling border areas in Chernihiv Oblast. For example, the Novhorod-Siverskyi community and the area near Horodnia are under fire almost daily.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Oblast State Administration, stated this at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“We are prepared for almost any action by russians. First of all, they are trying to divert the attention of Ukraine’s Armed Forces to the Chernihiv front,” the Head of the Oblast State Administration said.

The news comes from belarus that military drills and team training are ongoing. The russian airplanes keep bombing Chernihiv Oblast incessantly from their territory. So, the threat that belarus can start an active phase of the war persists.
