The Government Attracts Ukrainian Entrepreneurs to Defense Orders as Much as Possible to Support the Economy — Fedir Venislavskyi, People’s Deputy of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, makes attempts to provide domestic producers with orders as much as possible. Fedir Venislavskyi, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Representative of the President to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this report during the briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform. According to him, the goal is to create the most favorable conditions for entrepreneurs so that businesses can make provisions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and, at the same time, to create an impetus for economic development.

“If at the beginning of the war we had to buy military equipment, protection systems from our Western partners, because we had not enough bulletproof vests, we had not enough uniforms for the number of mobilized people, now our Committee meeting was attended by representatives of light industry, representatives of areas that ensure production of protection systems, bulletproof vests and ballistic helmets,” Fedir Venislavskyi said.
