The economic impact of NABU and SAPO activities in the latter half of 2023 amounted to UAH 3 billion.

In the second half of 2023, state-owned enterprises successfully funneled back a staggering ₴3 billion into the state budget, while also allocating assets to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Semen Kryvonos, Director of the NABU, revealed this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“The economic impact of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office is reflected in the restitution of funds to the state budget, state-owned enterprises, and directly to the state coffer, as well as assets channeled for Ukraine’s defense capabilities. In the latter half of 2023, this impact soared to a remarkable UAH 3 billion. Throughout 2023, the total impact reached UAH 4.7 billion, marking a 50% increase compared to 2022,” stated the NABU Director.
