The collective imprisonment term for these unjustly convicted citizens by russia in occupied Crimea stands at a staggering 1230 years

russian authorities in Crimea have handed down convictions to approximately 117 individuals on fabricated charges, resulting in prison sentences ranging from 4 to 19 years. 

Ihor Ponochovnyi, the Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, disclosed this information during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

Ponochovnyi emphasized, “Around 117 individuals have fallen victim to wrongful convictions in Crimea. These individuals have been unjustly sentenced to between 4 and 19 years behind bars. The cumulative duration of incarceration for all those convicted in Crimea on grounds related to politics, religion, nationality, and ethnicity now amounts to 1230 years.”
