Survey: Over half of russians believe the ‘special military operation’ will end in 2025

A majority of russians—52%—believe that the so-called special military operation against Ukraine will conclude in 2025, according to recent survey results presented at the Media Center Ukraine by political scientist Vadym Denysenko.

“Do you think the Armed Forces operation will be completed in 2025? Eight percent say it definitely will, while 44% believe it is likely to happen. That gives us a total of 52% who expect the ‘special military operation’ to end this year,” Denysenko explained. “Meanwhile, 30% believe it is unlikely, 10% are certain it won’t happen, and 8% were not ready to answer. So, overall, we have a split of 52% to 40%.”

The survey was conducted via telephone in russia, polling 1,200 respondents.
