Survey: Over half of russians believe the ‘special military operation’ will end in 2025

A majority of russians—52%—believe that the so-called special military operation against Ukraine will conclude in 2025, according to recent survey results presented at the Media Center Ukraine by political scientist Vadym Denysenko.

“When asked, ‘Do you think the ‘special military operation’ will be completed in 2025?’, eight percent said they were certain it would, while 44% considered it likely. This totals 52% of those who expect the ‘operation’ to end this year. Meanwhile, 30% consider it unlikely, 10% are certain it won’t happen, and 8% are undecided. Overall, this results in a split of 52% to 40%, Denysenko explained.

The survey was conducted via telephone in russia, polling 1,200 respondents.
