We Call Up Primarily People Experienced in Military Service and the Anti-Terrorist Operation; We Train Non-Experienced Citizens for at Least a Month – the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Roman Horbach, Head of the Personnel Department of the Headquarters of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about what categories of citizens are currently being called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“We call up primarily those who already have experience in military service, or, even better, experience of participation in the anti-terrorist operation or the joint forces operation. Also, citizens who have not ever served are being called up too. But this category must be sent to training centers or higher military educational institutions for training. The minimum term is one month of individual training. And then, depending on the complexity of the specialty, the term can be much longer. Absolutely all specialties are needed, but we call up some of them more, some less,” Roman Horbach said.
