Up to 80% of future parliamentarians of Bulgaria support military aid to Ukraine – ex-Minister of Defense of Bulgaria
The opposing parties gain only 25%. This was stated by Velizar Shalamanov, ex-Minister of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and head of the NATO Communication and Information Organization, during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
“There are populist forces in Bulgaria, there is a socialist party that is trying to block military support for Ukraine. But the current survey shows that the socialist and populist parties together gain less than 25%, and 60-70-80% of the people who will represent the society of Bulgaria in the parliament of the union in its decision regarding military support for Ukraine”, – Velizar Shalamanov said.
He also added that he hoped that this unity would allow the creation of a permanent government. And also this majority will allow strengthening measures in the fight against Russian propaganda.
