Electricity Is Restored by 80% in Sviatohirsk; There Are Water Supply Problems: All Pumping Stations Are Broken — Head of City Military Administration

Sviatohirsk was de-occupied on September 12. Volodymyr Rybalkin, Head of Sviatohirsk City Military Administration, told about the city’s and people’s bringing back normal during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Now mobile communication is operable, the social services and bakeries work, entrepreneurs who worked in trade in both food and building materials are returning. Medical assistance work is organized. We have electrical power, and the Internet connection is restored. We are gradually bringing back normal. The water supply situation is very difficult, because all the capacities of pumping stations and power lines that lead to pumps are broken. Water supply and sanitation problems exist. Electricity in Sviatohirsk has been restored by 80%. Talking about the community, which consists of 12 villages, there are settlements that are already fully provided with electricity. There is an entrepreneur who helps us completely with drinking and industrial water. Our task is to go through the winter period as comfortably as possible, because destruction is very large-scale,” Volodymyr Rybalkin said.
