The shelling of the city’s civilian infrastructure does not affect the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Defense Forces in Kherson are autonomous and do not depend on the city’s life support system. Dmytro Pletenchuk, head of the press service of the Kherson Defense Forces, told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“We are autonomous and do not depend on city systems. russians have the wrong idea that if they hit the TV tower, it will damage the armed forces of Ukraine… This makes no sense, because we are autonomous,” the officer said.

He also added that “it doesn’t make sense” based on where the occupiers are shooting. “These shellings have no military meaning, because they just hit residential buildings, they just hit at random,” Dmytro Pletenchuk added.
