The Occupied Melitopol Faced Serious Problems with Medicines; the Medicines for Serious Patients Will Suffice for Less Than a Month — Ivan Fedorov, City Mayor
The occupied Melitopol faced serious problems with availability of medicines, in particular, for severe or chronically ill patients. For example, the remaining hemodialysis supplies will suffice for less than a month. Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, made this statement during a briefing in Media Center Ukraine. According to him, such medicines cannot be delivered from russia, because they are mainly western manufacturers’ products that are under sanctions in rf. And russians block in the trucks with medicines that the Ukrainian authorities try to deliver from Zaporizhia to the occupied territories.
“Trivial medicines are available in pharmacies, but they cost 3–5 times more than in our cities,” Ivan Fedorov added.
