“The moscow regime was targeting power distribution equipment from our NPPs and tried to cut the Ukrainian electrical grid from Europe,” Oleksandr Kharchenko on russia’s largest missile attack

Yesterday, russia launched its largest attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure since the start of the all-out war. Oleksandr Kharchenko, Director at the Energy Industry Research Center, spoke about this at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine. He also said what the russians were trying to hit.

“The moscow regime was targeting power distribution equipment from our NPPs and tried to cut the Ukrainian electrical grid from Europe. At least 15 substations sustained more or less serious damages. There are very difficult hits. Probably, some 12 million Ukrainians were left without electricity yesterday,” — Kharchenko said.
