Six Units of Zaporizhia NPP Do Not Operate; the Invaders Use the Plant as a Shield to Shell Marhanets and Nikopol – Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration

Currently, six units of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant remain inactive, and the invaders continue to use it for their own military purposes. Oleksandr Starukh, Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, told this during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The actual situation remains unchanged. Six units of the nuclear power plant do not operate: in the cold and hot shutdown conditions. Power is consumed to ensure stability and security from our country’s energy system. The invaders continue to put pressure on the plant employees. Further, they use the nuclear power as a shield to shell the neighboring Marhanets and Nikopol. No systemic changes have occurred yet. We hope that another attempt by the international community will have at least some success,” Oleksandr Starukh said.
