russists Do Not Let Medicines to Enter Melitopol; Medicines Are Up to 16 Times More Expensive in Pharmacies — Ivan Fedorov, Mayor

The invaders do not allow to transfer even the most necessary medicines to Melitopol. Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, made this statement during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Last week we tried to transfer medicines to Melitopol, but these medicines remained in the gray zone. russists threw them out in Vasylivka. It is not possible to transfer medicines, even those that our residents with chronic and rare diseases need. Pharmacies have a certain range of products, mostly analogues of Ukrainian medicines, but they cost 2, 3, or even 16 times more expensive than in Dnipro, Zaporizhia or Kyiv. In hospitals, russists deliver medicines for the camera, but further take most of them to their military hospitals. Therefore, today there are almost no medicines in hospitals, and there is definitely no product range that we have long become accustomed to,” Ivan Fedorov said.
