Resistance Forces in Melitopol Are Dozens of Thousands Strong

Ivan Fedorov, Melitopol’s mayor, reported this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Our resistance forces and guerrillas work actively in various areas. In Melitopol alone, the resistance forces are dozens of thousands strong, while hundreds of locals are fighting actively. They risk their lives to work for the sake of our state. There were several achievements the last night, with our guerrillas having blown up the headquarters of the united russia party that has been making preparations for the sham referendum and destroyed a school where the russian guard forces were accommodated.

The resistance fighters dealt with henchmen of the russian administration efficiently.

“One of them included a former neighborhood leader who had been dismissed in 2020. When invaders entered the city, she assisted them with organizing the sham referendum. However, the resistance forces helped her make the right decision. She stated she would not take part in this process anymore,” Fedorov explained.

The house of the self-proclaimed CEO of the water supply and sewage disposal utility was destroyed by guerrilla fighters to discourage him from working for invaders.
