“Provided there are no attacks, we need 5-6 weeks to normalize the operation of the electrical grid,” Oleksandr Kharchenko

5-6 weeks without missile attacks are required to normalize the work of the Ukrainian energy system, Oleksandr Kharchenko, Director at the Energy Industry Research Center said at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Even if we assume that there will be no more attacks, we will need 5-6 weeks just to normalize the operation of the electrical grid, and to come to a situation where at least the majority of consumers either won’t be disconnected at all, or will be disconnected in a completely controlled and predictable way for 2-4 hours a day. But this is provided there are no further attacks,” — Kharchenko said.

He added that, at the same time, active work is underway in the country to find and transport equipment, which is now extremely necessary for the restoration of power grid
