Ukraine controls the situation at the belarusian border, although belarus and russia are exaggerating the situation in the media regarding this axis. Andrii Demchenko, Spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The situation in this area remains fully under control. It is somewhat stressful in terms of information. belarusian units, as before, are strengthening the border with our country, but neither the number nor the nature of their actions have changed. belarus and russia are constantly stirring up tensions by emphasizing this direction. At the same time, the creation of the necessary offensive group, which would be ready to invade the territory of Ukraine at the moment, is not noted. Our main task is to create a strong defense along this axis to prevent the invasion of russian or belarusian units. Units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other components of the defense forces are ready for the development of the situation in any way,” – the Spokesperson said.
