Lviv Region Plans to Provide Funding for Students’ Start-Up Projects — Head of the Department for Education and Science of Lviv Oblast Military Administration
The Lviv Oblast Military Administration plans to provide funding for student projects. In particular, we are talking about academic developments and projects of start-ups. Oleh Paska, Head of the Department for Education and Science of Lviv Oblast Military Administration, made this report during a briefing in Media Center Ukraine.
“The next task that we face is to make changes to the innovation development program. In order to envisage funding for the implementation of such projects,” Oleh Paska said.
The Head of the Department for Education and Science also noted several projects that Lviv students have already developed and which qualify for funding.
“The recent such initiative that takes place within the framework of the start-ups competition is ideas relating to different industries. For example, there are proposals to change legislation in the forest industry… or, for example, how to process and sort solid household waste and instill order in one of the districts of the region. Or a project that helps people determine the quality of drinking water. This app is also created by students… So there are a lot of interesting projects and they receive support within the framework of the competition,” Oleh Paska said.
