In Odesa, 20-30 small boiler houses are turned off for several hours – Odesa heating plants

However, this is only 6% of consumers. Hanna Pozdniakova, the director of the utility company “Heat supply of the city of Odesa” told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine-Odesa.

As Pozdniakova said, all residents of Odesa will receive heat, with the exception of those time when the company’s facilities are turned off due to blackouts.

“Daily 20-30 small boiler houses are turned off for a certain time. But this is less than 6% of our consumers. Large boiler houses, which provide heat to 90% of our consumers, work stably,” said Hanna Pozdniakova.

However, the situation with heat supply is difficult due to unpredictability, added the director of the enterprise. “Constant switching on and off of the electricity does not stabilize the system,” Pozdniakova noted.
