In November, about 80,000 people received humanitarian aid in Odesa oblast

The leaders were Odesa district – 46,379 persons, Izmailskyi district – 6,476 persons, and Podilskyi district – 4,200 persons. A total of 79,024 persons received humanitarian aid. Oleksiy Chornyi, Head of the Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters of the Odesa region, said  this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

Also in November, the humanitarian headquarters handed over 860 food kits to the Mykolaiv oblast.

“A total of 242,555 food kits for a month’s worth of food have already been handed over to the Mykolayiv oblast from April to November for the implementation of the state program “Neighbors”, – noted Oleksiy Chornyi.

Odesa region also helps the liberated territories of Kherson oblast, the head of staff said.

“On the day of commemoration of the victims of the Holodomor, November 26, we sent 4 trucks with humanitarian cargo to Kherson oblast, these are food kits and construction materials. Also, for people from the Kherson oblast who registered in the Odesa oblast, we additionally requested 5 thousand grocery sets from our partners,” Oleksiy Chornyi added.

As Oleksiy Chornyi added, in warehouses of the Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters of the Odesa oblast there is storage of food, children’s, hygienic and household goods, clothes and other items.
