Evacuation from Kherson could cost up to 500 dollars per person – an Odesa volunteer

Oleh Mykhaylyk, a volunteer and chairman of the board of the “Shoulder to shoulder” (“Plych o plych”) charitable foundation, told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa.

“For some dealers, it was a very profitable business. We even learned somebody pretend to sell seats in our evacuation buses for for 5-6-7 thousand hryvnias. Although, we took people out for free. And other carriers charged even $500 per seat,” Oleg Mykhaylyk said.

As Oleh Mykhaylyk added, since April, the “Shoulder to shoulder” (“Plych o plych”) charity fund has taken more than 4,000 people out of the occupied territories.
