Decisions on Reservation of Citizens Who Are More Needed in Civilian Life Than in Military One Are Made On an Individual Basis – the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The procedure for reserving those liable for military service is individual: the decision must be justified for each person individually. Roman Horbach, Head of the Personnel Department of the Headquarters of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told this during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“A head of an institution or enterprise shall personally raise the issue on reservation of some citizens who have a greater need for civilian life than for military life. All this shall be escalated via the relevant ministry to the Ministry of Economy. Based on which, after coordination with the Ministry of Defense, an individual decision shall be made for each person. The Ministry of Economy shall issue an order with lists, and based on this order, local recruitment centers reserve these citizens. But all this should be justified for each citizen separately,” Roman Horbach explained.
