After Saturday’s Shelling of Kherson City, People Lined Up in Very Long Queues to Donate Blood for the Survivors — the Oblast Council

On December 24, the invaders shelled the center of Kherson city, killing 10 and injuring dozens of people. In order to donate blood for survivors, the residents lined up in huge queues. Yurii Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council, told this during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“This Saturday was a rainy day, a bloody day for Kherson city and the Kherson region. There are grievously wounded people, and medics are still fighting for their lives. And what we had on Saturday was an act of terrorism. So many people came. The queues were unbelievable. People from all over the city and not only from Kherson — there were people who came from other settlements of the Kherson region just to donate blood. In order to help other people who suffered after this barbaric shelling,” Yurii Sobolevskyi said.
