95% of Educational Institutions Are Ready to Work in the Autumn-Winter Period — First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine
95% of educational institutions of Ukraine are ready to work in the autumn-winter period. Andrii Vitrenko, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, made this report during the briefing in the Media Center Ukraine.
“Why do we have such a figure? Because we have schools that were destroyed and preserved as a result of russian armed aggression, which will not work during this period. They are located in dangerous areas and classes in these schools will only take place online,” Andrii Vitrenko explained.
He added that the Ministry of Education entitled the teaching teams to flexibly respond to the situation with heat and change the vacation schedule.
“In other words, the vacation schedule is set by the local teaching staff of each educational institution and agreed with the local military administrations. I would like to tell you and support the Minister’s words that the Ukrainian system of education is ready to work in the autumn-winter period,” Andrii Vitrenko added.
