100% of the Sumy Region Settlements Are Provided with Centralized Heating and Water; Electricity Volumes Meet the Needs by 30–50% – Head of Oblast Military Administration
Centralized heat and water supply have been launched in the Sumy region, but electricity volumes are not yet enough to meet all consumers’ needs. Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, made this report during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“In 100% of settlements of the region where centralized heat supply is present, it has been launched. Where there is water supply, it functions. Utility people and power engineers are working on the elimination of the aftermath of shelling. Oblenergo works 24/7 to restore power lines so that people have electricity. Both hourly and emergency power cut schedules are implemented in the region. Even today, specific emergency power cut schedules are implemented, when settlements are turned off entirely without warnings. Unfortunately, the volume of electricity that reaches the region meets the minimum needs of consumers in the region by 30%, a maximum of 50%,” Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said.
