Situation in Krynky: Ukrainian defenders seek to hold their positions against constant grueling fights 

A heavy rain of enemy attacks hit the village of Krynky, destroying every single building. However, despite constant fighting and enemy attempts to drive Ukrainian forces out of their footholds, the defenders are managing to hold their positions.

Colonel Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, made this report at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“As for the situation in Krynky, it’s rather, of course, a very sore subject, as the enemy is putting heavy fire there. There has been constant fighting there, Russian troops are trying to pull our forces out, but we are proving tough and hung onto positions. In fact, as part of a major assault which has seen settlement infrastructure deliberately flattened, this is what ‘Russian World’ exactly is, unfortunately, in action on the left bank,” noted Natalia Humeniuk.
