Since the Beginning of Occupation, Almost 1,000 People Have Been Abducted in Melitopol Alone, at Least 3,500 Have Been Moved from Prisons to Crimea — Mayor

Russists began to legalize prisons and dungeons in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region. Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, made this statement during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Gauleiters issued a decree on the legalization of 28 prisons in the temporarily occupied territories, three of which are in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhia region. If previously we said that at least 5 dungeons exist in Melitopol alone, then russists have already legalized some of them. We can not say exactly how many people are there. From the prisons that were before the occupation, they moved at least 3,500 prisoners to the temporarily occupied Crimea. It goes without saying that they moved them illegally. For almost a year of occupation, almost 1,000 of our residents were abducted in Melitopol alone. Today, hundreds are still being held captive in different cities for sure,” Ivan Fedorov said.
