Since February 2022 15 family-type children’s homes were evacuated to Odesa region

200 children are being brought up there. Nataliya Utyupina, head of the children’s service of the Odesa regional military administration, told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine-Odesa.

“Before the start of the war, 56 family-type children’s homes operated in Odesa oblast. 404 foster children were being brought up there. 15 more such institutions moved to our region. More than 200 children are being brought up there,” Nataliya Utyupina said.

Since the beginning of the 2022, two family-type children’s homes and 5 foster families have been created. 47 orphans and children deprived of parental care live there.

There are also 173 foster families working in the region, where 334 children are being raised.
