russists seize office of Internet provider in Melitopol: people standing in lines since 5 AM to receive information from outside world — Mayor

In Melitopol and other temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhia region, the occupiers continue to pressure the civilian population. Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“First of all, the russists are intensifying the information vacuum that exists in the temporarily occupied territories. Three days ago, they seized the office of one of the largest Internet providers in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, which supplied the Internet to tens of thousands of homes and apartments. Currently, this provider does not work at all, our residents are left without access to the outside world, to unbiased information. Our residents are forced to wait in line to another Internet provider from five in the morning to reconnect (to the Internet). They are standing out there at 5 AM in winter because they want to know information that is real and not propaganda,” — Fedorov said.
